Darcie, 14 Year Old Calico
It's been two weeks...
We took her in for her thyroid blood test. We also asked if they could take a look at her ears again. We tell the tech that for the past few days she's been really nauseated in the morning. She will only eat dry food for now. Her wet food is a little too aromatic for her at this time. Just happy that she'll eat her dry food. Besides, it's enough to sustain her.
We wait, we wait.
The tech brings her back out rather quickly, I thought. We ask. "How did it go?" The tech says, "Just fine. No troubles. Of course she growled, but she was fine." They took her blood, and checked her ears. I notice that the tech has a tube of what looks like more ear medication. I sigh. This time it's for two weeks, and this stuff is to break up what the other medication didn't do. It's called Animax Ointment. They really want to break up the wax build up in her little ears. We wait 24 hours now for her thyroid blood tests to come back, and we talk to the Veterinarian then.
