5 a.m. Cat Alarm...
We awaken at around 4 a.m. to find Darcie on the bed at our feet. We were surprised by this really. We never figured she would do this, because Arrow usually sleeps with us. She's not completely keen on the boy yet. He's rough, he's inconsiderate, and he frankly just doesn't care if you aren't in the mood. So, she lays at out feet growling off and on at the little guy when he is being too frisky. (I should say, little guy, because he's over 5 pounds of male kitty trouble. I would growl at him too, if I were a female cat. But then... I already growl at him when he over steps his bounds.) We tried to drift off back to sleep. Again with the growling at 5:45 a.m. This time Arrow is completely frisky, and annoying. Darcie is protecting the bed, and trying to keep Arrow from pouncing onto it. Guh... That's it. No point in trying to sleep longer. I get up, and call them out to the kitchen. I make Arrow his breakfast first, and close the door to the bathroom. He doesn't like it when Darcie stares at him while he's eating. Odd, because he LOVES to stare at her when she's eating. I can hear him inhaling it. *rolls my eyes* I make Darcie her breakfast and put it down for her. She's a dainty eater. Very slow. She likes to chew her food. I make coffee while waiting for them to finish. What a morning.
